For Andrea Hamilton, music has always equalled healing. Andrea began touring as a professional musician at age 16 after winning one of GMA’s Best New Song awards. She immediately made it her mission to inspire hope through uplifting pop music. After taking a two-year break to battle for her own physical health, her mission to reach those who need hope-filled music is even stronger.
Andrea’s cover of Bastille and Marshmello’s song “Happier” in collaboration with German producer Koni, has 4.6 million streams and climbing, and her original chill house song “No One Hurries Time” has 2.2 million.
Her latest record, Love, is a 10-song journey through various aspects of the complicated and central topic of love, which she wrote, produced and mixed amidst copious EDM collabs and worship and gospel writing ventures.
Andrea’s music has been featured in Extreme Home Makeover, Temptation Island, Bachelor in Paradise, Preachers of LA, Too Young to Marry, Snookie and JWoww, Freak Show, Mystery Millionare, Ex and the Why, and many other shows and indie films. She also co-wrote the theme song for TLC’s My Giant Life.
As a pop songwriter, she’s been privileged to write with Kevin Fisher (Platinum co-writer for Rascal Flatts, Sarah Evans), Ashley Argotta (from The Fosters on ABC), Matt Arcaini (producer for Disciple, Kutless, I Am Empire), Dustin Smith (Here Be Lions), Whitney Wood (Woman Evolve and Propel Women), Tyrone Wells (Universal Music Artist), Paul Dan Leary (Audio Network) and many, many others.
Also a worship leader, Andrea started a Christian worship band called Binley that has three singles out including a cover of Pat Barrett’s “Build My Life,” The cover made it onto over 1800 Spotify playlists and allowed the band a platform to share their original worship music on TV in Nashville.
A musical philanthropist, Andrea has dedicated her life and talents to helping people find hope and healing. She has performed in collaboration with countless charities and non-profits, including The AIDS foundation of Pasadena and Project AK-47, a Nashville-based organization that rescues child soldiers. She has toured the globe sharing songs about perseverance, love, and her own incredible recovery from eating disorders and chronic illness.
Past performances venues include the Dolby Theatre Hollywood, Hotel Cafe, Hollywood and Highland, many U.S. venues and numerous international stages from four tours in Asia.
